The Datasensing AM1/AN-3A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C.
The AM1/AN-3A models are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and provide a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors ensure reliability with features like short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads.
Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are robust and durable, with an IP67 degree of protection. They are designed for shielded mounting and come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards. Suitable for operating temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, the AM1/AN-3A sensors are perfect for demanding industrial environments. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, they are ready for immediate deployment.
