The Datasensing AM1/AN-3A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 standard flush mount, these sensors are equipped with a 5-meter PVC cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05).
Engineered for durability, the sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors feature a yellow LED indicator for output state, and are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads.
With a switching frequency of 2kHz and a repeat accuracy of < 5% at 24V and 23°C, these sensors provide reliable proximity detection. They are designed to withstand mechanical shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards, and offer IP67 mechanical protection, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. The sensors come with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting and are approved with CE and UR certifications, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
