The Datasensing AM1/AN-4A2Q Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a Normally Open (NO) NPN output and are equipped with a 2-meter axial cable. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71). Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 2kHz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. They consume a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and support a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and feature a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, they are robust and durable. The sensors are designed for unshielded mounting and come with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, they are suitable for harsh environments, operating within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C.
