The Datasensing AM1/AP-1A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. With a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. They feature a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a shielded M12 standard flush mount design, ensuring durability and protection in demanding environments. These sensors offer a wide range of models, including standard, short body, and long-distance options, with output configurations available in cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits. The AM1/AP-1A series supports both 2 and 3 wire models, with ATEX category 3 models available upon request for hazardous locations. Engineered for efficiency, the sensors operate with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, boasting a switching frequency of 2kHz. They are equipped with essential protective features such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. The sensors are designed to withstand thermal drift of less than 10% and maintain repeat accuracy within 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The AM1/AP-1A sensors are built to endure harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and a degree of protection rated at IP67. They are compliant with CE and UR approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards per IEC 60947-5-2. Additionally, they are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Each sensor comes with a 2m PVC cable connection and includes two M12x1 nuts for secure installation. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, ensuring easy monitoring and maintenance. With a maximum ripple content of 10% and a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, these sensors are designed for energy efficiency and reliable performance in industrial applications.
