The Datasensing AM1/AP-1A8T Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 shielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm. They are optimized for standard targets of 12x12mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.22), aluminium (0.31), brass (0.41), and stainless steel (0.77). The sensors exhibit minimal thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors are ideal for proximity functions, offering a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 2kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The no-load supply current is ? 10mA, while the load current can reach up to 200mA. The sensors ensure minimal output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and maintain a max ripple content of ? 10%. Equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, these sensors are designed with safety features including short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. The housing is made from durable nickel-plated brass, with an active head material of PBT, and they come with a 3.5m PVC cable for easy installation. The sensors are CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and offer mechanical protection rated at IP67. They are supplied with two M12x1 nuts and can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
