The Datasensing AM1/AP-1C Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. With a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, they ensure durability and longevity even in challenging environments.
These sensors offer a wide range of models, including standard, short body, and long-distance options, with output configurations available in cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits. The AM1/AP-1C models are equipped with 2 or 3 wire connections and are available in ATEX category 3 upon request, making them suitable for hazardous locations.
The sensors operate with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 2kHz. They are designed to operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors feature a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%.
For enhanced safety and reliability, the AM1/AP-1C sensors include short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and protection against inductive loads. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are ready for operation with a time delay of ? 50ms.
With a compact M12 x 1 design and a length of 49.8mm, these sensors are easy to install and mount using the supplied M12x1 nuts. They are capable of withstanding operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C and offer mechanical protection with an IP67 rating. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 for electromagnetic compatibility. Additionally, they are tested for vibration and shock resistance according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, respectively.
