The Datasensing AM1/AP-2A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a NO/PNP output and are equipped with a 5-meter axial PVC cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 2kHz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile for various applications. They consume minimal power with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and support a load current of up to 200mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they feature robust protection mechanisms, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, they are durable and reliable, with an IP67 mechanical protection rating.
