The Datasensing AM1/AP-2A8R Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. This M12 unshielded sensor features a NO/PNP output with a 10-meter axial cable, ensuring flexibility and ease of installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, it is ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensor offers a high correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminum (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). It maintains accuracy with a thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C. The sensor's hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and it operates at a switching frequency of 2kHz. It supports an operating voltage of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and it features a yellow LED indicator for output state. Designed with safety in mind, it includes short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The sensor is housed in durable nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, and it is rated IP67 for mechanical protection.
