Datasensing AM1/AP-2H Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/AP-2H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring reliable performance with a switching frequency of 2kHz. These sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc and have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA. They can handle a load current of up to 200mA, with a minimal output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. Designed for durability, they include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, ensuring robustness and longevity. The AM1/AP-2H Sensors are easy to install with an M12 plug connection and come with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting. They are unshielded and have a tightening torque of 10Nm. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and an IP67 degree of protection, these sensors are suitable for harsh environments. They are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
