The Datasensing AM1/AP-3A86 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 shielded NO/PNP configuration, these sensors come with a 5-meter axial cable for versatile installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). Engineered for stability, they exhibit a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. Designed for proximity functions, the sensors have a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function and a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors feature a low leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. A yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, these sensors are robust and durable. They are designed for shielded mounting and come with a tightening torque of 10Nm. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards. They withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, respectively. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, the sensors have dimensions of M12 x 1 with a length of 49.8mm. They operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C and offer mechanical protection rated at IP67, making them suitable for demanding industrial environments.
