The Datasensing AM1/AP-3A86AN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for reliable proximity detection. Featuring a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for precise applications. The standard target size is 12x12mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, these sensors ensure consistent performance. The AM1/AP-3A86AN sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors feature a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. A yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state display. Designed with robust protection features, these sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads.
