The Datasensing AM1/AP-4HAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for reliable proximity detection. Featuring an M12 unshielded design with a NO/PNP connection, these sensors are ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc). With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for various industrial applications. The sensors are constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. They offer a high switching frequency of 2kHz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. Additional features include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as a yellow LED indicator for output state. The sensors are compatible with standard M12 plugs and come with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, they are built to withstand shocks and vibrations, making them suitable for demanding conditions.
