Datasensing AM1/BP-3C Sensors

The Datasensing AM1/BP-3C Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a shielded M12 design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) PNP output functions, making them versatile for various applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors exhibit excellent correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). Engineered for stability, the sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They feature a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 2kHz, ensuring rapid response times. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they consume minimal power with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are designed for durability and longevity. They come with a 2m PVC cable with a 90° output for easy installation and are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, they are suitable for harsh environments, operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and are compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 for electromagnetic compatibility.
