The Datasensing AM1/CP-1HAN Sensor is a high-performance inductive sensor designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring a shielded M12 design, this sensor operates with a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm. It is optimized for standard targets of 12x12mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.22), aluminium (0.31), brass (0.41), and stainless steel (0.77). The sensor ensures minimal thermal drift of less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, the AM1/CP-1HAN supports a switching frequency of 2kHz and operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. It features a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is maintained at ? 1.8V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensor is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and includes essential protections such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, it is designed for durability and ease of installation with an M12 plug connection and a tightening torque of 10Nm. The AM1/CP-1HAN is approved for use in hazardous environments, meeting CE UR II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc standards, and is EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2. It withstands shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, the sensor measures M12 x 1 / L = 64.8mm and operates within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, offering IP67 mechanical protection for robust performance in demanding conditions.
