The Datasensing AM1/CP-2C Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M12 unshielded NC/PNP configuration, these sensors come with a 2-meter PVC cable and a 90° output for versatile installation options. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminum (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15), ensuring accurate detection across different surfaces. Engineered for durability, the sensors boast a thermal drift of Sr less than 10%, repeat accuracy under 5%, and a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%. They operate at a switching frequency of 2kHz and support an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state, and they feature comprehensive protection mechanisms, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the sensors are robust and reliable, withstanding operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C. They are IP67 rated for mechanical protection, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress. The sensors are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and are designed to endure shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate deployment in demanding industrial environments.
