The Datasensing AM1/CP-3H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally closed (NC) output function, ensuring reliable performance with a switching frequency of 2kHz.
Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, the sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and can handle a load current of up to 200mA. They are designed with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, making them robust and durable. The sensors also feature a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms.
Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the sensors are shielded and have a mechanical protection rating of IP67, ensuring resistance to dust and water. They are compatible with M12 plug connections and come with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation. With an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are suitable for various industrial environments. Additionally, they meet CE and UR approvals and comply with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2, as well as vibration and shock standards IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27.
