The Datasensing AM6/AP-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature a compact M12 short shielded design with a 2-meter axial cable, making them ideal for tight spaces. With a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm, they ensure accurate detection of standard targets measuring 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 2kHz.
Engineered for durability, the sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an IP67 protection rating, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, making them robust against electrical disturbances. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, while the sensors operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA.
The AM6/AP-1A sensors are compatible with a wide range of materials, with correction factors for copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. They are designed to withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C and are compliant with CE and UR approvals, as well as EMC compatibility standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are easy to install and maintain, offering reliable performance in demanding environments.
