The Datasensing AM6/AP-4H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials such as copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, ensuring reliable performance with a switching frequency of 2kHz.
Built with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, the AM6/AP-4H sensors are designed to withstand harsh environments, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and a degree of protection rated at IP67. They include essential protective features such as short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and impulsive overvoltage protection, making them highly durable and reliable.
The sensors are available with various output options, including cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits, and can be mounted unshielded with a tightening torque of 10Nm. They are also compatible with ATEX category 3 models upon request, making them suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The sensors come with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation and are approved with CE and UR certifications, ensuring compliance with international standards.
