The Datasensing AM6/BP-2H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring a compact M12 short unshielded design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) PNP output functions, making them versatile for different operational needs. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors exhibit excellent correction factors for different materials, including copper (0.41), aluminum (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15). Engineered for durability, the AM6/BP-2H sensors are housed in nickel-plated brass with an active head made of PBT, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments. They are equipped with essential protective features such as short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, along with protection against inductive loads. The sensors operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. Designed for ease of integration, these sensors come with an M12 plug connection and are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting. They are capable of withstanding shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards and offer a high degree of protection with an IP67 rating. The sensors are also ATEX compliant, category 3, available upon request, making them suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. With a switching frequency of 2kHz and a yellow LED indicator for output state, the AM6/BP-2H sensors ensure reliable and accurate performance in a wide range of industrial settings.
