The Datasensing AM6/CN-2H Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature a compact M12 short unshielded design with an NC/NPN connection, making them ideal for proximity detection tasks. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are perfect for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.47), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (1.15), ensuring accurate performance across different environments. Engineered for durability, the sensors have a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C. They operate with a switching frequency of 2kHz and support an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, along with protection against inductive loads, ensuring long-lasting performance. The housing is made from nickel-plated brass, providing robust mechanical protection with an IP67 rating, and the active head is constructed from PBT. The sensors are designed to withstand harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and compliance with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are also resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. For ease of installation, the sensors come with an M12 plug connection and include two M12x1 nuts. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors have a time delay before availability of less than 50ms. With a weight of just 20g and a tightening torque of 10Nm, these sensors are both lightweight and easy to mount. CE and UR approvals further attest to their quality and reliability in demanding industrial settings.
