The Datasensing AM6/CN-3H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, these sensors are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. They feature a robust M12 short case flush mount design, ensuring durability and ease of installation. The sensors operate with an NPN output type and a normally closed (NC) output function, providing a switching frequency of 2kHz. Engineered for versatility, the AM6/CN-3H models offer a wide range of configurations, including standard, short body, and long-distance options. They are equipped with cable, M12, and M8 plug cable exits, and are available in 2 or 3 wire models. For environments requiring additional safety, ATEX category 3 models are available upon request. The sensors are built with nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head material, ensuring a high degree of protection (IP67) against dust and water ingress. They are designed to withstand harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and compliance with IEC 60947-5-2 for EMC compatibility. Additional features include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The sensors have a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current capacity of ? 200mA, with a minimal output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are supplied with two M12x1 nuts for secure mounting.
