The Datasensing AM6/CP-4H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for a variety of applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, these sensors are ideal for precise proximity detection. The standard target size is 24x24mm FE360, and they offer correction factors for different materials such as copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71).
These sensors feature a PNP output type with a normally closed (NC) output function and a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is ? 1.8V at 200mA, ensuring efficient performance.
Built with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an active head made of PBT, the sensors are designed to withstand harsh environments, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and a degree of protection rated at IP67. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads.
The sensors come with an M12 plug connection and include two M12x1 nuts for easy installation. They are CE and UR approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards. Additionally, they are tested for shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, ensuring reliable performance in demanding conditions.
