The Datasensing BX04SR/0A-AB Sensors are a robust and versatile area sensor kit designed for precise object detection. Featuring four adjustable beams, this kit operates on a 10...26Vdc power supply and includes a 2-meter P+N DO cable. With a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.3 to 2 meters and a controlled height of 90mm, it is capable of detecting objects with a minimum diameter of 15mm. The sensor's sensitivity can be fine-tuned using a trimmer, and it employs an emitter-receiver function principle with crossed beams detection for enhanced accuracy. Built to withstand harsh environments, the BX04SR/0A-AB boasts an IP67 protection degree, with special models available for IP69K. It offers complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, and is equipped with impulsive overvoltage protection. The sensor is also ATEX certified for categories 2 and 3 upon request, making it suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The sensor's output type is NPN + PNP with a NO output function, and it supports a switching frequency of 180Hz. It features a rapid response time of 500µs for light/dark transitions and 5ms for dark/light transitions. The device is equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring: green for power ON, yellow for output state, and red for alignment. Constructed with durable PBT housing and a PC active head, the sensor is designed to operate within a temperature range of 0°C to +50°C. It comes with supplied accessories, including four M18x1 nuts, an adjustment key, and two 90° angled brackets, ensuring easy installation and setup.
