The Datasensing BX10S/X0-HB Sensors are designed for precise and reliable area detection, featuring a robust IP67 protection degree, with a special model offering IP69K protection. These sensors are engineered to provide complete protection against electrical damages and are capable of detecting objects with irregular shapes. For environments requiring specific safety standards, ATEX models in categories 2 and 3 are available upon request.
Equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring, the BX10S/X0-HB Sensors utilize crossed beams detection to ensure accurate performance. The sensors operate within a nominal sensing distance of 0.3 to 2 meters, with a thermal drift of Sr at ?10%. The beams are spaced at 10mm, covering a controlled height of 90mm, and can detect objects as small as Ø 5mm with its 10 rays.
The sensitivity of the sensors can be adjusted using a trimmer, and they function as an emitter with a check. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 26VDC, these sensors have a no-load supply current of 25mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The green LED indicator signals power ON status, with a time delay before availability of ? 85ms. Reverse polarity protection is included to safeguard the device.
The sensors emit infrared light and can withstand interference from external light sources up to 1000lux from incandescent lamps and 1500lux from sunlight. Constructed with a durable PBT housing and a PC active head material, the sensors measure 45mm x 145mm x 20mm and weigh 115g. They are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from 0°C to +50°C without freezing.
Approved by CE and cULus, and compliant with EMC compatibility standard EN 60947-5-2, the BX10S/X0-HB Sensors come with supplied accessories including two M18x1 nuts, one adjustment key, and one 90° angled bracket. With a tightening torque of 25Nm, these sensors are built to deliver reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
