The Datasensing BX10SR/XA-AB Sensors are a robust and versatile area sensor kit designed for precise object detection. Featuring 10 adjustable beams, this kit operates within a nominal sensing distance of 0.3 to 2 meters, with a controlled height of 90mm and a beam spacing of 10mm. It is capable of detecting objects with irregular shapes, with a minimum detectable object size of 5mm. The sensors employ an emitter-receiver function principle, with an output type of NPN + PNP and a switching frequency of 180Hz.
The BX10SR/XA-AB Sensors are equipped with LED indicators for easy monitoring: a green light for power ON, yellow for output state, and red for alignment. The sensors are protected against electrical damages with features like short-circuit protection, reverse polarity protection, and impulsive overvoltage protection. They are designed to withstand harsh environments, boasting an IP67 protection degree, with special models available for IP69K.
