The Datasensing C18P/A0-1A Sensor is a high-performance capacitive sensor designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring a robust M18 plastic shielded housing, this sensor offers a nominal sensing distance of 3 to 8mm with minimal thermal drift of less than 20%. It operates efficiently on both DC and AC supply voltages ranging from 20 to 250Vac at 50-60Hz, ensuring high noise immunity and consistent performance.
Equipped with adjustable sensitivity, the sensor provides flexibility to meet specific application needs. Its output type is SCR with a normally open (NO) function, supporting a switching frequency of 10Hz. The sensor is designed to handle a load current of up to 500mA, with a maximum of 2.5A for 20ms, and features a low leakage current of ? 100µA.
The C18P/A0-1A sensor is built to withstand harsh environments, with an operating temperature range of -35°C to +85°C and a storage temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. It is protected against short-circuits, polarity reversal, and overvoltage, ensuring durability and longevity. The sensor is also compliant with CE and cULus approvals, and meets EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2.
For ease of installation, the sensor comes with a 2m PVC cable and includes a screwdriver and two M18 nuts. Its compact dimensions (M18 x 1 / L = 87mm) and lightweight design (150g) make it suitable for a wide range of applications. The sensor's mechanical protection is rated at IP67 and IP68, providing excellent resistance to dust and water ingress. Additionally, it features a yellow LED indicator for object detection, ensuring clear and immediate feedback during operation.
