The Datasensing CF/CA4-10 Sensors are designed for precision and reliability, featuring a non-cuttable optical fibre scanner with a 1-meter range. These sensors offer a versatile selection of models, including ultra-slim designs for detecting small objects, options for long-distance scanning, and spiral tubes for enhanced handling capabilities. The sensors are equipped with a wide array of flexible fibre heads, complete with protective sleeves, and a variety of cutting fibre units to suit diverse applications. With a robust IP67 protection rating, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments. They are compatible with the SSF, FS1, FX3, and FX4 series, offering detection distances of 15 mm, 15 mm, 60 mm, and 80 mm respectively, and a 40 mm range with the F1R series. Utilizing a diffuse reflection function principle, the sensors incorporate plastic optical fibres with an axial optic position. They operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -40°C to +70°C, ensuring reliable performance in extreme conditions. The optical fibre core measures 0.5 mm in diameter, housed in a durable M4 head with a sleeve, constructed from nickel-plated brass for added durability. The optical fibre material is made from PE plastic, providing flexibility and resilience. Additional accessories, such as the AF/1A2, can be ordered separately to enhance functionality.
