The Datasensing CQ55/BN-3E Sensors are high-performance capacitive sensors designed for precise object detection. Featuring a cubic polycarbonate plastic housing, these sensors offer adjustable sensitivity with a nominal sensing distance of 4 to 25mm. They operate on a DC supply voltage of 10 to 40Vdc and are equipped with NPN output type with NO + NC output functions. The sensors boast a switching frequency of 50Hz and are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage. With a repeat accuracy of 5% and a thermal drift of Sr less than 20%, they ensure reliable performance in various environments. The sensors are shielded/unshielded mountable and come with an M12 plug connection. They are designed to withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +80°C and have an IP67 degree of protection, making them suitable for demanding industrial applications.
