The Datasensing CT1/CN-1A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability, featuring a capacitive sensor with a nominal sensing distance of 2 to 15mm. Encased in a robust nickel-plated brass housing, these sensors offer IP65 protection, ensuring durability in various environments. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using the built-in trimmer, allowing for fine-tuning to meet specific application needs. With a thermal drift of less than 20% and a repeat accuracy of 10%, these sensors provide consistent performance. Equipped with an NPN output type and NC output function, the CT1/CN-1A sensors support a switching frequency of 100Hz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The sensors are designed to handle a load current of up to 200mA, with a no-load supply current of 8mA and a leakage current of 10mA. The output voltage drop is minimal, ensuring efficient operation. The sensors feature axial cable exit or M12 plug cable exit options, with a 2m PVC cable included. LED indicators provide clear status updates, with a green LED for power and a red LED for object detection. Safety is prioritized with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, all of which are auto-resetting. The CT1/CN-1A sensors are easy to install, with a shielded mounting design and supplied accessories including a screwdriver and two M30 nuts. They are built to withstand shocks and vibrations, complying with IEC standards, and are approved by CE and cULus. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, these sensors are ideal for a wide range of industrial applications.
