The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using the teach-in method, ensuring optimal performance in various environments. With a robust construction of nickel-plated brass and PBT, the sensor is built to withstand harsh conditions, offering IP67 mechanical protection.
Equipped with an NPN output type that is L/D selectable, the sensor provides flexibility in output functions. It operates efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, with a low no-load supply current of ?30mA and a load current capacity of ?100mA. The sensor's high switching frequency of 400Hz and quick response time of 1.25ms make it suitable for fast-paced industrial applications.
The DM3/0N-1AAN is designed with safety and reliability in mind, featuring short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection. It is capable of withstanding external light interference up to 3,000 lux from incandescent lamps and 10,000 lux from sunlight. The sensor is approved for use in hazardous environments, meeting CE cULus Ex standards.
