With a nominal sensing distance of 400mm and a diffuse reflection function principle, these sensors are ideal for medium-distance applications up to 600mm. They feature a sensitivity adjustment trimmer for fine-tuning and offer a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensors operate with an NPN NO+NC output type, providing both normally open and normally closed functions.
Built to withstand challenging environments, the FAI7/BN-0AAN Sensors are certified with II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C ratings, ensuring safe operation in explosive atmospheres.
