The Datasensing FAI7/BN-0AAN Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. With a nominal sensing distance of 400mm and a diffuse reflection function principle, these sensors are ideal for medium-distance applications up to 600mm. They feature a sensitivity adjustment trimmer for fine-tuning and offer a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensors operate with an NPN NO+NC output type, providing both normally open and normally closed functions.
Built to withstand challenging environments, the FAI7/BN-0AAN Sensors are certified with II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C ratings, ensuring safe operation in explosive atmospheres. They are housed in a robust M18 PBT/PC casing with an IP67 mechanical protection rating, making them resistant to dust and water ingress. The sensors are equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring and offer short-circuit, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection for enhanced durability.
Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, these sensors have a low no-load supply current of ?30mA and a load current capacity of ?100mA. They are designed to handle interference from external light sources, with a tolerance of up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. The sensors come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation and are supplied with M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver for convenience.
