The Datasensing FAI8/BP-0A Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for various sensing applications with their robust M18 design and versatile features. These sensors operate on a 10...30 Vdc power supply and are available in both axial and radial optic configurations with a flat surface. They are particularly effective in detecting transparent objects, thanks to their retro-reflective models with red emission. With an IP67 protection degree, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, featuring metallic or plastic housing options.
The FAI8/BP-0A Sensors provide a nominal sensing distance of 1 meter and maintain a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr, ensuring reliable performance. They boast a repeat accuracy of 5% and offer sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer. Utilizing a diffuse reflection principle for long-distance detection (>600mm), these sensors are designed for precision and adaptability.
Equipped with PNP NO+NC output types, the sensors support a switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms. They operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10
30VDC, with a no-load supply current of ? 30mA and a load current of ?100mA. The sensors feature short-circuit and overvoltage protection, along with reverse polarity protection, ensuring durability and safety.
The FAI8/BP-0A Sensors are designed to resist interference from external light sources, withstanding up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. They are housed in a durable PBT/PC material with a 2m PVC cable connection, and their active head is made of PC. The sensors are lightweight at 50g and have a compact M18 x 1/L=67.5mm dimension, making them easy to install and integrate into various systems.
Approved by CE and cULus, these sensors meet EMC compatibility standards (EN 60947-5-2) and are tested for shocks and vibrations (Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 / Shock IEC 60068-2-27).
