The Datasensing FAID/BN-0A Sensors offer a comprehensive range of M18 sensors designed for versatile applications. Powered by a 10...30 Vdc supply, these sensors feature both axial and radial optics with a flat surface, making them ideal for detecting transparent objects with their retro-reflective models and red emission. Built to withstand harsh environments, they boast an IP67 protection degree and are available in both metallic and plastic housings.
Each model includes sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, ensuring precise detection with a nominal sensing distance of 20m and a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr. The sensors operate with a repeat accuracy of 5% and a switching frequency of 250Hz, responding in just 2ms. They are equipped with NPN NO+NC output types, offering flexibility in output functions.
Engineered for reliability, the sensors feature total protection against electric damages, including short-circuit protection with auto-reset, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection. The LED infrared emission at 880nm ensures minimal interference from external light sources, withstanding up to 5000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight.
Constructed with durable materials, the sensors have a PBT/PC housing and a PC active head, with a 2m PVC cable for connections. They are designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C without freezing, and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards.
