The Datasensing FAID/BN-0AAN Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable performance. With a nominal sensing distance of 20 meters, these sensors feature a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensitivity can be easily adjusted using a trimmer, and the sensors operate on a receiver function principle. The optic position is axial, and the output type is NPN NO+NC, providing both normally open and normally closed output functions.
These sensors boast a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, making them suitable for fast-paced environments. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, with a no-load supply current of ?25mA and a load current of ?100mA. The leakage current is minimal at ?10?A, and the output voltage drop is ?2V at a load current of 100mA.
Designed to withstand challenging conditions, the sensors offer short-circuit protection with an auto-reset feature, overvoltage protection, and reverse polarity protection. They emit LED infrared light at 880nm and can handle interference from external light sources up to 5000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight.
Constructed with durable PBT/PC housing and a 2m PVC cable, the sensors are built to last. They are approved with CE cULus Ex certifications and comply with EMC compatibility standards EN 60947-5-2. The sensors are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards.
Supplied with M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver, the sensors have a mechanical protection rating of IP67, ensuring they are dust-tight and protected against water immersion. They operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, without freezing. The compact dimensions of M18 x 1/L=67.5mm make them easy to integrate into various applications.
