The Datasensing FAID/BP-1A Sensors offer a comprehensive range of M18 sensors designed for versatile applications. With a power supply range of 10 to 30 VDC, these sensors feature both axial and radial optics with a flat surface, making them ideal for detecting transparent objects using retro-reflective models with red emission. The sensors boast an IP67 protection degree, ensuring durability in various environments, and are available in both metallic and plastic housings. Each model includes sensitivity adjustment via a trimmer, providing precise control over detection capabilities. The sensors operate on a receiver function principle, with a PNP NO+NC output type, and offer a switching frequency of 250Hz with a rapid response time of 2ms. They are equipped with short-circuit and overvoltage protection, as well as reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliable performance and longevity. The sensors are designed to withstand thermal drift of ?10% Sr and maintain a repeat accuracy of 5%. They feature LED infrared emission at 880nm and are resistant to external light interference up to 5000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. The robust construction includes a nickel-plated brass housing with a PC cable exit, and they come with a 2m PVC cable for easy installation.
