The Datasensing FAID/BP-2EAN Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. Featuring a 90° radial receiver, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 15 meters with adjustable sensitivity via a trimmer. The PNP NO+NC output type ensures versatile application, while the robust plastic housing with an M12 connection provides durability and ease of installation.
Engineered for challenging environments, these sensors are certified for use in explosive atmospheres (II 3G Ex nA IIC T6, II 3D Ex tD A22) and offer IP67 protection, making them resistant to dust and water ingress. With a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, they are ideal for fast-paced industrial applications.
The sensors operate efficiently within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, with a low no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a load current capacity of ?100mA. They feature short-circuit and overvoltage protection, as well as reverse polarity protection, ensuring reliable performance and longevity.
Equipped with LED infrared emission at 880nm, these sensors are designed to minimize interference from external light sources, withstanding up to 5000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. The housing is constructed from durable PBT and PC materials, with an active head made of PC, ensuring resilience in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
The package includes M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver for easy installation, and the sensors comply with EMC standards (EN 60947-5-2) and vibration/shock resistance (IEC 60068-2-6 / IEC 60068-2-27).
