The Datasensing FAR2/BN-2E Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. Featuring a 90° diffuse reflection function, these sensors are ideal for short-distance applications up to 100mm, with a nominal sensing distance of 100mm. The sensors operate on a 10...30 VDC power supply and are equipped with NPN NO+NC output types, ensuring versatile integration into various systems.
Constructed with a robust PBT/PC housing and a PC active head, the FAR2/BN-2E sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering IP67 protection against dust and water ingress. The sensors are designed with a radial optic position and a red LED emission at 660nm, providing reliable performance even in challenging lighting conditions, with interference resistance up to 5000lux for incandescent lamps and 10000lux for sunlight.
With a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, these sensors ensure quick and accurate detection. The sensors also feature comprehensive protection mechanisms, including short-circuit protection with autoreset, overvoltage, reverse polarity protection, and EMC compatibility according to EN 60947-5-2 standards.
The compact design, with dimensions of M18 x 1/L=92.7mm and a weight of just 30g, allows for easy installation in tight spaces. The sensors come with an M12 plug connection and are supplied with M18 x 1 nuts for secure mounting. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, the FAR2/BN-2E sensors are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, ensuring reliable performance and longevity.
