The Datasensing FARL/BN-2E Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise detection of transparent objects. Featuring a 90° retroreflective design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 1.5 meters with a minimum blind zone of 0.1 meters. They operate on a 10...30 VDC power supply and are equipped with NPN NO+NC output functions, ensuring reliable performance in various industrial applications. The sensors boast a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, making them ideal for fast-paced environments.
Constructed with a robust PBT/PC housing and an IP67 protection rating, the FARL/BN-2E sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, including temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The radial optic position and red LED emission (660nm) enhance their capability to detect transparent objects effectively. Sensitivity can be easily adjusted using the trimmer, and the sensors are protected against short circuits, overvoltage, and reverse polarity.
