The Datasensing FARN/BP-2E Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable object detection. Featuring a 90° polarized optic with a nominal sensing distance of 2.5 meters, these sensors are ideal for applications requiring high accuracy and sensitivity. The sensors operate on a 10...30 VDC power supply and offer both axial and radial optic options with a flat surface for versatile installation. Equipped with a PNP NO+NC output type, the FARN/BP-2E sensors provide a switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, ensuring quick and efficient performance. The sensors are housed in a durable PBT/PC plastic material with an IP67 protection rating, making them suitable for harsh environments. They are also equipped with short-circuit, overvoltage, and reverse polarity protection to safeguard against electrical damages. The sensors feature a sensitivity adjustment trimmer, allowing for precise calibration to meet specific application needs. With a red LED emission at 660nm, they are capable of detecting transparent objects with ease. The sensors are compatible with the RL110 reflector and are designed to withstand external light interference up to 5000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight.
