The Datasensing FARN/BP-3E Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable object detection. The sensors operate on a 10...30 VDC power supply and offer both axial and radial optics with a flat surface, making them versatile for various installation needs.
Equipped with a PNP NO+NC output type, the FARN/BP-3E sensors provide flexibility in output functions, supporting both normally open and normally closed configurations. The sensors boast a high switching frequency of 250Hz and a rapid response time of 2ms, ensuring quick and efficient performance in dynamic environments.
Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PMMA active head, these sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, with an IP67 protection rating against dust and water ingress. The sensors are also equipped with short-circuit and overvoltage protection, as well as reverse polarity protection, ensuring durability and longevity.
The FARN/BP-3E sensors feature a sensitivity adjustment trimmer, allowing for precise calibration to suit specific application requirements. With a thermal drift of ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%, these sensors maintain consistent performance even in varying temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
Additional features include LED indicators for output status, a low no-load supply current of ?30mA, and a load current capacity of ?100mA. The sensors are compatible with M12 connections and come with supplied accessories such as M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver for easy installation.
