The Datasensing FS1/0N-C Sensors are compact optical fibre amplifiers designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. With dimensions of just 49 x 26 x 15 mm, these units are engineered to fit into tight spaces, featuring a right-angle cable exit or an M12 plug cable to minimize overall dimensions. The sensors offer a trimmer for sensitivity adjustment, allowing for fine-tuning to meet specific needs. They support both NPN and PNP outputs with selectable NO/NC functions, providing flexibility in integration. The FS1/0N-C Sensors utilize a red light beam with a visible spot, compatible with a wide range of optical fibres, including both plastic and glass types. They are equipped with comprehensive protection against electrical damage, including short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, ensuring durability and longevity. The sensors are designed for easy installation with M4 screws and come with a mounting bracket and screws for convenience. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, these sensors have a nominal sensing distance that varies depending on the optical fibres used. They exhibit a thermal drift of Sr ? 10% and a repeat accuracy of ? 5%. The sensors feature a high switching frequency of 1kHz and a rapid response time of 500µs, making them suitable for fast-paced environments. With an IP67 degree of protection, they are resistant to dust and water, and can operate in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C without freezing. The FS1/0N-C Sensors are CE approved and comply with EMC compatibility standards EN 60947-5-2.
