The Datasensing IL8/AP-3A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an 8x8 mm cubic design with a top detection head, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.62mm. Ideal for proximity detection, they are equipped with a PNP-NO output type and a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. The sensors are housed in durable AISI303 stainless steel, ensuring robust performance in challenging environments, with an IP67 protection rating for resistance against dust and water ingress.
The IL8/AP-3A sensors come with a 2m axial PUR cable for easy installation and connectivity. They are designed to handle a load current of up to 200mA, with a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a minimal output voltage drop of ? 1.5V at 200mA. The sensors feature advanced protection mechanisms, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads, ensuring long-lasting and reliable operation.
With a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5%, these sensors provide consistent performance across a wide operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The blue LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are compliant with CE and cULus approvals, as well as EMC compatibility with IEC 60947-5-2 standards. The IL8/AP-3A sensors are designed for shielded mounting and are ideal for applications requiring precise and reliable proximity sensing.
