The Datasensing IL8/AP-5A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability, featuring an 8x8x40mm cubic flush mount with a sensing head positioned at the top. These sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 2.02mm, making them ideal for proximity detection. Constructed with AISI303 stainless steel housing and a PBT active head, they ensure durability and resistance to harsh environments, operating efficiently within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensors are equipped with a PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of up to 5kHz. They are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads, ensuring reliable performance. The blue LED indicator provides a clear output state, while the 2m PUR cable connection facilitates easy installation. With IP67 protection, these sensors are resistant to dust and water ingress, making them suitable for various industrial applications.
