The Datasensing MS4/00-0A86 Sensor is a high-performance photoelectric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. Featuring a diffuse reflection principle, it offers a nominal sensing distance of 200mm, ideal for short-distance applications. The sensor is equipped with a 5-meter axial plastic cable and operates with an NPN/PNP selectable output, allowing for NO/NC configuration. It boasts a robust construction with a PBT/PC housing and PMMA active head, ensuring durability and reliability in various environments.
With a switching frequency of 80Hz and a response time of 6.25ms, this sensor provides quick and accurate detection. It operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30VDC, with a no-load supply current of ?40mA and a load current of ?100mA. The sensor is designed to withstand harsh conditions, offering IP67 mechanical protection and compliance with EMC standards EN 60947-5-2. It also features short-circuit and overvoltage protection, ensuring safe and stable operation.
The MS4/00-0A86 is equipped with LED infrared emission at 880nm and can handle external light interference up to 3000lux from incandescent lamps and 10000lux from sunlight. It includes red LED indicators for status output and comes with M18 x 1 nuts for easy installation. With a compact design measuring M18 x 1 / L = 78.9mm, this sensor is suitable for a wide range of industrial applications, operating efficiently in temperatures from -25°C to +70°C.
