The Datasensing NX14SR/XAN-A010 Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for detecting objects in various applications, including automatic vending machines. This area sensor kit features 14 beams with an axial configuration and sensitivity adjustment, ensuring precise detection of objects with irregular shapes. The sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.5 to 2 meters and a beam spacing of 10mm, providing a controlled height of 130mm. With a minimum detectable object size of Ø 5mm, these sensors are equipped with crossed beams detection and LED indicators for easy monitoring.
The emitter and receiver function on an NPN output type with a normally open (NO) output function, supporting a switching frequency of 130Hz. The sensors are designed to withstand electrical damages, offering short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection.
