The Datasensing NX14SR/XCN-AT10 Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for detecting objects in various applications, including automatic vending machines. This area sensor kit features 14 beams with a controlled height of 130mm and a beam spacing of 10mm, ensuring precise detection of objects as small as Ø 5mm. The sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.5 to 2 meters, and they include sensitivity adjustment for optimal performance.
Equipped with LED indicators, the emitter displays a yellow light when powered on and active, while the receiver shows a red light for signal level and a yellow light for output state. The sensors utilize an NPN output type with a normally closed (NC) function, and they support a switching frequency of 130Hz. The response time for light/dark transition is 500µs, and for dark/light transition, it is 7ms.
Designed for durability, the sensors provide complete protection against electrical damages, including short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection. They are resistant to external light interference, withstanding up to 1000 lux from incandescent light and 1500 lux from sunlight. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 26VDC, with a no-load supply current of 150mA for the emitter and 25mA for the receiver.
