The Datasensing NX14SR/XCN-C010 Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for detecting objects in various applications, including automatic vending machines. This area sensor kit features 14 crossed beams with a controlled height of 130mm and a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.5 to 2 meters. The sensors are equipped with sensitivity adjustment, allowing for precise detection of objects with irregular shapes, down to a minimum detectable size of Ø 5mm.
The kit operates on an emitter and receiver principle, with an NPN output type and normally closed (NC) output function. It boasts a high switching frequency of 130Hz, ensuring quick response times of 500µs for light/dark transitions and 7ms for dark/light transitions. The sensors are designed to withstand electrical damages, featuring short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection.
LED indicators provide clear status updates, with yellow indicating power and emission activity on the emitter, and red and yellow on the receiver for signal level and output state, respectively.
