The Datasensing NX16SR/XAN-C010 Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for detecting objects in various applications, including automatic vending machines and irregularly shaped items. This area sensor kit features 16 beams with a controlled height of 150mm and a beam spacing of 10mm, ensuring precise detection with a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.5 to 2 meters. The sensors operate on an emitter and receiver principle, with an NPN NO output type and a switching frequency of 130Hz.
Equipped with LED indicators, the emitter displays a yellow light for power ON and emission active, while the receiver shows a red light for signal level and a yellow light for output state active. The sensors are designed without housing, providing flexibility in installation, and include sensitivity adjustment for tailored performance.
With a response time of 500µs for light/dark transitions and 7ms for dark/light transitions, these sensors ensure quick and reliable operation.
