The Datasensing NX16SR/XAN-CT1020 Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for detecting objects in various applications, including automatic vending machines. This area sensor kit features 16 beams with a controlled height of 150mm and a beam spacing of 10mm, ensuring precise detection of objects as small as Ø 5mm. With a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.25 to 0.7 meters, these sensors provide reliable performance in diverse environments.
Equipped with LED indicators, the emitter displays a yellow light when powered on and active, while the receiver shows a red signal level and a yellow output state. The sensors operate on an NPN NO output type with a switching frequency of 130Hz, ensuring quick response times of 500µs for light/dark transitions and 7ms for dark/light transitions.
Designed for durability, the sensors include short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection. They are capable of withstanding external light interference up to 1000 lux from incandescent light and 1500 lux from sunlight. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 26VDC, with a no-load supply current of 150mA for the emitter and 25mA for the receiver.
