The Datasensing NX16SR/XAP-C01020 Sensors offer a comprehensive solution for detecting objects with precision and reliability. This area sensor kit features 16 beams with a controlled height of 150mm and a nominal sensing distance ranging from 0.25 to 0.7 meters. Designed with sensitivity adjustment, it ensures accurate detection of objects, even those with irregular shapes, making it ideal for use in automatic vending machines.
Equipped with LED indicators, the sensors provide clear status updates: a yellow light for power and emission activity on the emitter, and red and yellow lights on the receiver for signal level and output state, respectively. The sensors operate on a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) function, and they boast a high switching frequency of 130Hz, ensuring quick response times of 500µs for light/dark transitions and 7ms for dark/light transitions.
Built to withstand electrical challenges, the sensors include short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, as well as impulsive overvoltage protection. They are designed to resist interference from external light sources, withstanding up to 1000 lux from incandescent light and 1500 lux from sunlight.
